Ya YA Foods Corporation (“Ya YA Foods” or the “Company”), a low-acid aseptic beverage manufacturer, today announced that it has acquired Truss Beverage Co. (“Truss”), whose primary asset is a beverage manufacturing facility located in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Ya YA Foods is a portfolio company of Entrepreneurial Equity Partners (“e2p”), a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on the food and consumer packaged goods industries.

Ya YA Foods is a leading aseptic contract manufacturer of low-acid beverages such as plant-based milks, plant-based and bone broths, high-protein beverages, and specialty dairy products, as well as high-acid beverages such as juice. The Company offers end-to-end packaging solutions to multi-national beverage companies across North America. e2p invested in Ya YA Foods alongside the Abbas Al-Ali family in February 2021, with Ya YA Foods founder and CEO Yahya Abbas continuing to lead the Company.

Truss is Ya YA Foods’ second acquisition under e2p’s ownership. In 2020, Truss constructed, licensed, and commissioned a state-of-the-art beverage production facility in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. The Truss acquisition adds a third facility to Ya YA Foods’ footprint as the Company continues to scale as a leader in aseptic beverage manufacturing.
