The Molten Core is located beyond Blackrock Depths in the deepest part of Blackrock Mountain. It is the home of Ragnaros the Firelord - one of the four elemental lieutenants of the Old Gods - and his elemental minions. Molten Core is a 40-man raid instance.
All Molten Core bosses up to Golemagg drop pieces of the Tier 1 Raid Set while the trash will drop bracers and belts for tier 1. Ragnaros drops the leg pieces only of the Tier 2 Raid Set.
